Croydon World of Darkness

Kindred Affiliation – Camarilla
Status – Camarilla Staging Post

Croydon is a large town in South London England, about 10 miles south of Charing Cross. It is one of the largest commercial districts in Greater London but has it’s equal measure of poverty. The entire town had a population of around 210,000 , whilst the wider borough has a population of 380,000. The population is a tiny compared to Greater London which is home to around 9 million mortals, and the region of London at around 15million.

Croydon suffers from elevated crime levels but also see’s substantial investment in the more affluent areas. As a mixing pot of cultures, it is a home to varied arts and events that attract Kine and Kindred alike.

In theory Croydon should support no more than around 20 kindred but actually has many more maybe close to 50 excluding visitors. As the last stronghold of Camarilla control in the London area the support is required but at the same time increased presence brings risk of discovery.

Restrictions on Kindred

  • Feeding is restricted and rationed, younger vampires are expected to feed outside of Croydon town but may be granted permission by the Prince or Seneschal if requested.
  • Phone and internet use is discouraged strongly, it was technology that allowed the 2I to take London, and the surveillence makes masquerade breaches highly likely.

It is my intention to replace all generated art with commissioned pieces should the resources be a success. As it is not commercially provided at this time, they have been used as place holders. I don't support AI use and believe it is crucial to continue to fund and use artists for creative endeavours. If you are interested in sharing any art please do get in touch.
